Last week we went to camp it was so much fun. We had a blast like an actual blast of snow it was freezing. Before camp was stressful trying to find gear. It drove the teachers crazy every day they were reminding us. If you want to see the preparations for camp here's the link you should read it after this one. It was so hard packing because you didn't wont to forget anything it was so scary. But the the suspense was building the atmosphere got more existing every day. Then it was the day it was finally here. Luckily I didn't spew on the bus ride phew.
We got to the crossing backpackers it was so cool the movie room was amazing. It was a wardrobe but when you opened it. It was a room amazing I really recommend staying there. The food was really nice like the nachos, butter chicken and bangers & mash. Those meals were nice they tasted amazing. Our bedrooms were super cosy especially the heater it was so warm. I loved doing card tricks on people it was so much fun the lodge was amazing.
I loved skiing I got the hang of it so fast it was easy way easier than snowboarding. Snowboarding looked so hard the most injuries came from the snowboarding like twisted ankles and hurt foots and all that stuff. Sledding was fun except when you had to walk up the big covered magic carpet it never moved. It was so tiring but the skiing part was my favourite. I loved skiing from the very top of happy valley and go up the chairlift. But I hated the blizzard their but it was still really fun it didn't stop us from learning how to ski. The small bits of hail stung on your face it hurt so bad.
My favourite parts of the trip were happy valley the gondola the chair lift and the Acc baths. I loved the bombing off the island in the AC baths and I loved the amercian hotdogs they are one of my all time favourite foods.
