Food diary

Hey bloggers!

This week in Te Waka Ako we have been doing a 24 hour food diary. We had to say the amount of food we had and how much sugar was in piece. This is what I had, weet bix, milk, sugar, burger ring, cookies, peanut butter, wholemeal bread, carrot, pretsels, rice, carrot, biscuit, banana, mandarian and finally chips. We had to add up all our sugar on the first time I got 12 teaspoons but the reccommended daily teaspoons are 6 teaspoons. Then we found out that naturaul sugar does not count that was a relief because I thought bananas were terrible for having 14gs it ended up just being 3gs and mandarien was 9gs to 2gs which was good. So I actually had 6.1 teaspoons of sugar I was so angry about that 1 hanging on the end of 6 if it wasn't for that I would be perfect. Anyway here is a photo of my food diary.




I thought this was good to know how much sugar I had because I was not as worried about how much sugar I had in 1 day, because I only had 6.1 and the reccommended teaspoons in 1 day were 6. So I felt really good about my self.
