Oreineteiring!

Talofa Lava! On the 21st of May Tuesday 2019 we had orientering zones it was so much fun it was in Block House Bay Reserve. What we had to do was get a map get a bit of paper and staple the paper you think it is easy well you should try. It was so hard I was running around like crazy trying to find my letter. It was so hard then when I was finished I got a little peice of paper with a number on it and I gave it to Ms Sands.

Before and after orientering we played on the playground and it was so much fun. If you got stuck running around in orientering there was some people walking around helping you also, there were clues on the map to help us. I think there was about 25 or 26 stake to staple on your paper. The park was massive you wold not belive it I got lost a cuple times thinking that I was not on the corse. Some peope stashed away stakes in bushs and flax that is called cheating. There were some really nice kids that were helping you and told you were the stakes were and said good luck and thing like that. Well eany way blog you later peace out!✌😍

Oh and here are some photos

Pink shirt day

Kia ora,😍😜 on Pink Shirt day we made shirts with messages on them to help people have an uplifting day, encouraging positive mental health. We coloured them in, then we walked in groups up and down the streets around school, putting them in letterboxes. We put kind and encouraging messages on the front, we had no idea which t-shirt we got, the teachers gave them out randomly for us to distrubute. Here are some of the t-shirts.

On the back of the t-shirt it says:
* Supporting mental health
* a bully free New Zealand
* May 2019
* Please repost into a random letterbox after you have enjoyed this
message as long as you want.

Here is a photo of the back of a t-shirt.

That is also the format you have to do it in so if you got one and you're reading you know all about if you did not get one it was meant for bringing joy into your life.

So blog you later😁

The deer and the devloper nartive

Kia ora, talofa lava, bula, aloha, and hello welcome to my blog in term 1 we had worked on our narritive we got a slide show of pictures to chose from. What ever one we chose we had to write about. This is the picture I chose I described it as winter wonder land but actually wrote about a whole diffrent thing I ended up writing about developers zoos.

I like my story it is funny and people band up to work together it is just a great story. My main charectar amber the deer in the picture is like telling you what happened. I really like that they kind of feared the zoo so they would do anything to stop them. So here is the link to my narrtive. blog you later Hosanna out.

Tread lightly Caravan

Kia Ora on the 2nd of Aprll we went to the tread lightly caravan. There was 3 activities, I will tell you all about them. The first thing we did was have a talk altogether, then we split into 3 groups. My group was inside first. My group got split in half we got to do wet land first and that was fun here are some photos of that

After 10 minutes in that we moved to the virtual reality head sets. We could see beaches, rubbish under water and birds up close. Here are some photos of that.

After that my team went to the carvan where there was a display and we got a bottle each with a label. That told us what we had inside. I had wee!
and we had to put it in the right place I put mine in the toilet. So here are some photos of that.

Then we counted all the drains in the school. We went all around the juniors and the seinours. I counted 48 after that we had a talk with the people who ran it. Then we wrote a goal in a fish and gave it o our teacher. Blog you later peace out Hosanna  ✌.

Memorial Assembly

Memorial Assembly

Our school has acknowledged what happened with the Christchurch attack. So many lives should have not been ended. The senior sydincate at my school has made cards. For the Schools, Hospitals, Police, Mosques, and everything else that got put through it.

That's why our school has practised lockdowns in case this ever happens in Auckland. We sang a song in the hall then had 1 minute silence.

Then we walked outside and, planted a Kowhai with someone from every culture in our school, putting some dirt in. Then we put some of our cards around it.

That is a day I will never ever forget.
If you would like to give some money to Christchurch. Go on the give a little page that will be linked.

Since that day we have practised lockdowns, we have done reading, about it and talked about it in class and much much more.

Kia Kaha!

Stand strong Christchurch!

Enviro Group In Te Waka Ako

Hi people and fellow bloggers. This week in Enviro Group, we have been making beeswax wraps. Beeswax wraps replace glad wrap and help the environment. There are all different types of fabric. We grated beeswax, and made some Kawakawa Balm. We put oil in a pot, and ripped up leaves from our bush, I have no idea what that's going to make. But I am excited to find out.

We're going to sell this all at Molley Green Day - We are hoping to self heaps!
The products are also available from our School office!

2019 Music

Welcome to my first ever learning blog 2019!

This year we have started doing music! First we moved to music, when Miss McGrath put it on. Then we used the instruments from the music room to create happy music and sad music. Outside under the tree, It was very loud!  Then we used Song Maker, and composed discordant sounds and harmonious sounds! We listened to different sounds on a Melodica, and decided which were harmonious and which weren't. The harmonious sounds sounded way better then the discordant ones. We did this over 3 days of music lessons.
